The CM, Kannada Nadu, Punyada Beedu spoke after participating in the 67th Kannada Rajyotsava organized by the Public Education Department at Kantheerava Stadium in the city and hoisting the flag. The Kannada land was divided in different countries and after independence the work of consolidation was done. There was a struggle for integration of Mumbai Karnataka, Nizamar Karnataka and Madras province to form one state. Haluru Venkatarayar, Nijalingappa, Sahukar Channaiah and many other prominent people participated in it. National Poet Kuvempu's contribution to this is important, he said.
Every Kannadigas should introspect that what is my effort to work to build Kannada Nadu. If you think about this, Karnataka will be the greatest in the world.
